A bone originally classified as a coelurosaurian fibula by Huene in 1926 has been re-examined and interpreted as a wing phalange II of a large pterosaur.  The specimen comes from Solothurn Turtle Limestone, a Late Jurassic sediment of Kimmeridgian age, from an old quarry near St. Niklaus, Solothurn, Switzerland.
