NOTEthe use of this generic name is confusing since it is occupied by a number of species.

The pterosaur Odontorhynchus Pelzeln 1868, in which the type specimen is lost.

The flatworms Odontorhynchus aculeatus Karling 1956 and Odontorhynchus lonchiferus Karling 1947.
