Germanodactylus (German finger) rhamphastinus

A fossil specimen from Daiting, Southern
Germany with a skull length of about 21cm and an estimated wingspan of 1m.
This specimen shows a distinct shallow cranial crest which was partially soft
tissue. The sternum is shield shaped and the sharply pointed jaw has teeth
near the tip.
