A small plaster model
reconstruction of Pterodactylus. This was purchased from R Brendel (Berlin) in
1893 for 7s 6d.
A cast of a specimen of
Pterodactylus antiquus. This was purchased from V.Fric (Prague) and is
labelled as Pterodactylus longirostris. Don't know the exact date of purchase
but probably in the period 1880-1910.
Hanging in our entrance hall at
present is a large papier-mâché pterosaur. It is strictly non-accurate but
fun! Complete with large eyelashes! This was made last year by a local artist
in conjunction with the showing of the National Museum of Wales touring
exhibition 'Tracking Dinosaurs'.
