There is a small collection of pterosaur material, including some Stonesfield
slate and Cambridge Greensand fossils and a series of casts of type specimens. Some
specimens have been recorded with temporary numbers issued during the re-organization
of the collections during 1999. The two main collections associated with
pterosaurs are the J.P.Earwaker and the Dixon collections. (updated Feb
2001)
