Peter Wellnhofer
Peter Wellnhofer was born in Munich, Bavaria, in 1936. He became head conservator of the Bavarian State Collection of Palaeontology and has been working with pterosaurs for over 30 years. Wellnhofer is one of the leading authorities on pterosaurs with a series of key publications to his name.
