Baron Franz von Nopsca
A Hungarian nobleman, Nopsca was an expert Geologist . He was Professor of Geology at Milan. He identified the bones of Tribelesodon (Tanystropheus) as pterosaur. They were later found to be bones of a long necked quadruped. His other works were significant.
