Douglas A. Lawson 
Dr. Douglas Lawson discovered the fossil Quetzalcoatlus northropi in 1971 whilst working as a graduate student at the University of Texas, USA, under Dr. Wann Langston Jr. This fossil is now in the Texas Memorial Museum at Austin.
